Mindfulness Meditation Class

Ever thought you’d like to explore meditation and its benefits of relaxation, clarity and equanimity? Have you ever wondered how to get started? Well if you have this class is for you!!!

You’ll learn some of the basics of Mindfulness Meditation in a safe, supportive environment.

Prerequisites: No previous experience necessary.

Description: This special exercise guides you through an exploration of how Sounds (Hear Out) affect the Body (Feel Out & Feel In) – and then leads you to an experiential understanding of how our Internal Talk (Hear In) affects us emotionally (Feel In) – both above & below the normal level of awareness – often driving & distorting our perceptions & behavior.

This could be called an ‘introduction’ to this relationship or a ‘deepening of awareness’ into how Internal Talk & Emotions affect each other and our moment-to-moment experience in life – often consciously and unconsciously – with the purpose of creating more freedom and ease as we apply sensory clarity, equanimity & concentration to this experience.

Leader: Stephanie Nash teaches meditation classes, retreats, and private sessions (in person & over the phone) integrating the teachings of Shinzen Young. The format is instructional, with meditation and Q&A.
