Network Spinal Analysis helps you find the freedom in a healthy spine!
Most of us have memories of life events – some bringing joy, some life-changing, and still others we would rather forget. Each of those life events has an energy that can store anywhere in the body, including the spine and nervous system, especially when it did not feel safe to experience at the time. That stored energy converts into tone, vibration and tension. The cerebral cortex is the higher part of the brain with which we observe our self, experience higher thought, awareness and consciousness – disconnects from that energy as if to say “I never want to feel that again.”
As the energy of stress – physical, chemical or emotional – becomes stuck in the body, the spinal cord becomes stretched like an over-tightened guitar string. This puts the nervous system in fight-or-flight mode, locking in tension patterns that distort the spine and posture. When the spinal cord is under tension, the tone and vibration of each cell is altered, interfering with cellular communication, energy flow and the release of cellular memory.
When communication of the nervous system is disturbed, there is the decreased ability to perceive, process and verbalize body sensations, emotions and tension patterns. This promotes the body-mind disconnection that can create and sustain spinal distortions and vertebral subluxation limiting the range of adaptive response.
The more one attempts to suppress and deny those parts of our self that have been hurt, the more that energy intensifies, creating suffering and dis-ease. The “defended self” is that part of our self that is defended against real or perceived threats. The defended self reacts from unconscious sensory motor strategies anchored in the spine and nervous system. Stored as tone and vibration converted into tension it creates blocks of both nerve energy and the flow of consciousness. Until we reconnect to the energy of past trauma and stress – not to relive the story, but rather to digest or recycle the energy for our healing and transformation – we can remain in that place of suffering that can include physical symptoms of pain and illness. So how can the body’s nervous system learn to transform bound, stuck energy?
The tone, vibration, shape and position of the spine and nerves determine the awareness and level of consciousness with which we experience the world. Imagine a triad with its three sides labeled Behavior, Structure and Perception. Energetic bio-fields circulate around the triad – Life Force, Emotional, Lower/Upper Mental and Spiritual (Individual and Global Soul). These bio-fields surround and animate the body through Spinal Gateways. Each bio-field has a corresponding level of consciousness, tone, vibration and awareness. Within the triad is energy. What determines which energetic bio-field(s) to which we connect to at any given time is the Behavior, Structure and Perception of our spine and nervous system. This is model is known as the Triad of Change.
To illustrate how the behavior, perception and structure affect awareness and consciousness, let’s do an experiment: hang your head down and roll your shoulders forward. How do you feel? Hold that position and say, “What’s wrong with me?”
How does the energy feel in your body? Most likely, you’re in a lower energetic bio-field experiencing lower levels of vibration and consciousness. Someone locked into that position, as the result of nerve system tension, might only experience anger, frustration and depression – a limited depth and range of human experience.
Now, roll your shoulders back… look towards the sky… lift your heart, and ask: “How can I expand into who my soul is calling me to be?” Allow yourself to feel the love and connection of Individual Soul and the oneness and gratitude of Global Soul bio-fields. As we experience an awakened spine connection, our vibration increases – as does the vibration of this planet and all of humanity!
The Triad of Change is a basic organizing principle of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA). In NSA, we seek to help the person experience a wider range of resourcefulness within life, awareness, consciousness, health and wellness. By applying gentle contacts – as much pressure as putting in a contact lens – in specific patterns to Spinal Gateways located at each end of the spine, the nervous system is empowered. As the nervous system reorganizes to higher levels of perception and behavior, there is a connection to bound, stuck energy. As this energy releases, the evolving “somato-psychic” or body-mind wave directs energy into the Spinal Gateways to be recycled as fuel for healing and transformation. As the nervous system moves from fight-or-flight into safety, opening up and clearing, a vacuum is created that draws in more love and light.
As we discover the transformation in an awakened spine, we experience with awareness the love, ease and grace of an open heart, the oneness and gratitude of global soul consciousness in connection with our higher power and all of humanity. May you have an awakened day!
